We had a bit of trouble finding the place on foot, it's a bit further than the instructions sound (catch a taxi, it's only 4 Leva). Staff were super helpful, giving us a rundown on the hostel and Sofia. Dinner + Beer = good, breakfast following morning = excellent. Private rooms are a two minute walk away from the main hostel in an apartment block, but have been recently renovated and were very clean. |

we were welcomed by friendly staff & given free beer! There's a lively atmosphere & plenty of room to chill out & watch tv. the staff are really helpful & the rooms are comfy. there was always plenty of hot water & shower facilities too.

Only thing is that you could climb in and out of the windows for the rooms so anybody from the hostel could go in. Not sure how you could sort that one out! Would defo stay there again. Abha from UK stayed here on 17th August 2010 I loved, my stay at Hostel Mostel in Sofia, but think the following suggestions could improve other people's experiences:
1. Organised city tour and an organised bar tour. I understand staff members may not always be available to take people out on tours, but just as there was a recommended walking path for people to go around the city in the day, maybe a similar self-walking tour for people who want to go out for a drink shown on the nightlife map would be good?
