Reviews & Ratings sandyjim85 from Australia stayed here on 03rd September 2010 A great hostel, we'd stay again! We had a bit of trouble finding the place on foot, it's a bit further than the instructions sound (catch a taxi, it's only 4 Leva). Staff were super helpful, giving us a rundown on the hostel and Sofia. Dinner + Beer = good, breakfast following morning = excellent. Private rooms are a two minute walk away from the main hostel in an apartment block, but have been recently renovated and were very clean. | | kohlrabi from USA stayed here on 31st August 2010 Excellent hostel! Staff were really friendly, kitchen and wifi all free to use, fair price, perfect location and close to everything. Also, the adorable resident stray kitties in the courtyard are delightful. | | lderudet7438 from France stayed here on 30th August 2010 what a nice stay in this hostel, kosta brat !!
thank you Ana, Nini, Stan and Damian. we'll be back | | christophergandrews9219 from England stayed here on 25th August 2010 Great place to stay. Cool staff - Damien was an absolute legend- loads of space to socialise and chill out, food and beer at the end of the day was a nice touch too. Really good space to explore the city and the staff helpfully provided us with places to see, drink and eat upon arrival. Fantastic hostel overall, and we will definitely be back. | Mixed Group 18-24 | Sarah Anne from England stayed here on 22nd August 2010 A brilliant place to stay when visiting Sofia!
we were welcomed by friendly staff & given free beer! There's a lively atmosphere & plenty of room to chill out & watch tv. the staff are really helpful & the rooms are comfy. there was always plenty of hot water & shower facilities too.
it is really cheap & includes a good breakfast, so i would definately stay there again! | Female 25-30 | JMathie from Australia stayed here on 22nd August 2010 Free food and beer is an absolute winner! | | MaxiMVanGrevelinge from France stayed here on 21st August 2010 The best Hostel I've done ever in Europe.
You won't be disappointed ! | | gotegote743 from Spain stayed here on 21st August 2010 Great staff, very clean and the perfect place to meet people. | | Travel_kiwi from New Zealand stayed here on 18th August 2010 Great place, could not recommend more. Only thing is that you could climb in and out of the windows for the rooms so anybody from the hostel could go in. Not sure how you could sort that one out! Would defo stay there again. Anna (sp?) was really really helpful! | | Abha from UK stayed here on 17th August 2010 I loved, my stay at Hostel Mostel in Sofia, but think the following suggestions could improve other people's experiences:
1. Organised city tour and an organised bar tour. I understand staff members may not always be available to take people out on tours, but just as there was a recommended walking path for people to go around the city in the day, maybe a similar self-walking tour for people who want to go out for a drink shown on the nightlife map would be good?
Thank you for an ace time xx | Female 18-24 |
